The Table Tennis Federation of India in its Annual General Meeting held on 29th January 2010 at New Delhi honoured the U.P. Table Tennis Association by bestowing on it the best Organisation award in the country. The UPTTA had successfully conducted the 19th Asian Table Tennis Championships at Lucknow in November 2009. Arun Kumar Banerjee, Hony. Secretary, UPTTA said that it is a matter of pride for the entire sporting fraternity of Uttar Pradesh. He had a special word of praise for Shri Prabhat C. Chaturvedi, IAS, President, UPTTA and thanked him and his entire team for this achievement.
Further, Banerjee informed that Shri Prabhat C. Chaturvedi, IAS who is presently Vice President of TTFI has been nominated as Senior Vice President of TTFI.
